So nice to just chill on the lake. I rented a kayak and paddled to the cliff jumping spot, about 2 hours round trip. Beautiful view from the upper cabins!

Posada Woochooch is beautiful and is a safe little family hotel. It has a peaceful and beautiful garden. We loved the location, not too touristy, it was quiet but close to everything. Communication with staff was great. The family who runs the hotel was very friendly and helpful. Every day their sweet dog Rocco would welcome us. We had a shared bathroom, but everything was kept very clean so it really didn't matter. Highly recommend.

We stayed in the private room and it was clean and comfortable. The manager/owner Andrea was lovely and really interesting to talk to and the communal area was chilled and peaceful. It was right in the centre of town so everything was within walking distance. The kitchen had good equipment and there was free filter coffee and tea. The staff seemed happy there.

Even it is not the cheapest place you can get, you most definitely get more than you are expecting. The bathroom was the biggest surprise. It comes with a free standing tub from where you have a really nice view over the lake and the volcano on the opposite lake side!

Featuring free WiFi and a restaurant, Eco-Hotel Mayachik is located in San Juan La Laguna, 16 km from Panajachel. Beautiful rustic location and facilities. I really liked the composting toilets! They smelled better than most bathrooms I’ve been in. The restaurant was great, and the staff was lovely.

Hotel is nice, clean, has security cameras, bed was confortable, service is absolutely great, they provide towels & toiletries, coffee in the morning, not to close from the main street but very affordable plus has parking.
