It’s beautiful, everything about Shanti is luxury and high quality. It’s quiet location, a short 5 minute walk into the hustle and bustle and moments from the beach, provides a tranquil and peaceful space. The staff were so welcoming and helpful from moment of arrival, and served a delicious breakfast in the morning! I was working remote and the Wi-Fi was quick and super reliable, no issues on any of my zoom calls. Everything about Shanti was just perfect and I cannot wait to return.

The hostel was very clean, and the owners were extremely kind and helpful. The service was excellent, and everything I asked for was provided with a smile. The space was beautiful, and the team were very kind and attentive. Nice to be able to swim and relax away from the beach too. We loved the breakfast each morning also!

The owner and the tranquil vibes of the place is perfect. It's a small hostel with few guests and nothing crazy going on. I came here to rest and clear my mind which was perfect! But I know a lot of people go to El paredon for partying, so it was so nice to find this quiet and calm place in this town. The beds were also so comfy and each bed has their own fan which I really really appreciated.

The nicest hostel rooms I've stayed in with great facilities, and definitely the best kitchen I've found in any hostel in El Paredon (or Guatemala in general). The staff were super accommodating, I had an issue with my bed the first night and they were quick (and generous) to make sure it was sorted. I extended my stay several times. The hostel is perfectly social - I met great people who were up for socialising, but you don't have to deal with loud hostel music keeping you awake every night, as is the case with most other hostels in the area.

The staff is super nice. Bed was very comfortable. The pool was a nice size to hang out during the hot day. The food was delicious. The staff helped to decorate the room for a birthday occasion and the picnic basket for the beach was wonderful. Definitely will come back again. We had the Atitlan room, and it has a small balcony facing the pool.

A really good place! Would definitely come back
