We have stayed in a number of hotels in the Coaching Inn chain but this was by far the best. The location was perfect being situated in the heart of Dartmoor. The facilities excellent. The restaurant was extremely well appointed with a variety of comfortable chairs and sofas. The staff were brilliant and very accommodating when asked for variations to the menu.

Situated in Buckfastleigh on the edge of Dartmoor National Park, next to the banks of River Dart. Among the various facilities of this property are a terrace, garden and a bar. The property provides a 24-hour front desk. Free WiFi is available to all guests. Parking area was close and well lit. Room was very clean and comfortable. Staff were very nice and attentive. Food was very good and helpings were quite substantial. Our room had a lovely balcony with a table and seating just a pity it was raining. We left early morning so missed breakfast but I’m sure breakfast would have been excellent.

The Mason Arms is located on Devon’s Jurassic Coast, just a 10-minute walk from Branscombe Beach. Dating back to the 14th-century, this property offers an award-winning restaurant, locally brewed ales and free parking. Really loved staying here, it was a beautiful room and the surrounding view from the terrace area was really gorgeous, with some very friendly cows right next door. The pub had a great selection of drinks and food. Everything was really high quality and delicious. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable.

The George Hotel's historic exterior hides modern interiors and facilities. Fabulous breakfast! Accommodating options for dinner especially when one comes without wheels so can only eat in town. Lovely room. A treat to have tea & coffee (plus biscuits) available at any time. Should I ever find myself returning to this area, I won't hesitate to stay here again.

The Hoops Inn & Country Hotel is a Grade II listed property nestled within unspoilt countryside and 5 minutes’ drive from a scenic coastal walk. Dartmoor and Exmoor national parks can both be reached in less than an hour’s drive. The property also has more than 8 acres of landscaped grounds for guests to enjoy. We were in the area for one night and were delighted to find this gem! We live in Germany so staying in a country pub/hotel is always a treat for us, and this did not disappoint. We have 2 little dogs who were very welcome in both the pub and the room (and were even given treats and a cheeky sausage by the wonderful staff!). Our check in was smooth and we were able to book a table for dinner with ease. The staff were all super attentive and engaging. The room was comfortable and was everything we needed - even if the bed was a tad small, it still provided us with a solid nights sleep. However, without a doubt, the pinnacle of this stay was the food!! It was EXCEPTIONAL! And this is not exceptional for a pub, it was exceptional compared to anything! The duck was genuinely one of the best cooked and tastiest we’ve ever had! We’ve already recommended it to people and we are seeing how we can visit again on our next visit. Whether you stay for a night or not, the food HAS to be tried! Book a table and thank us later!

Riviera International Centre is 38 km from the bed and breakfast and Totnes Castle is 44 km away. Lovely lady, warm Welcome Situation close to the city center, good walking distance. Cosy house, stylish room and quite romantic. Soft colors, tea set and bath/shower soaps at our disposal. Great breakfast, choice of bread, jam, ham, fruits, yoghourt, butter, milk, tea/ coffee !

The staff are wonderful, very kind and helpful. The studio I stayed at for four nights was ideal for a solo traveller. Thank you ever so much!

The Beatrice room we stayed was beautiful, very clean, comfortable very tastefully decorated , bed was very large and very comfortable couldn't fault it , will be returning soon
