The restaurant was also excellent, we really enjoyed both breakfast and dinner. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful throughout our stay. Built in the 17th century, the Bird in Hand Inn retains many period features including Cotswold stone walls and beamed ceilings. There is a large fireplace in the winter and a terrace for summer dining. The hosts were wonderful, the accommodation was spotless, so comfortable and so authentic. The buildings were full of charm and character. The breakfast which was included was excellent. We also had an evening meal which wasn’t included and the food and service was excellent

The Crown Inn is a beautiful building dating from 1633. Surrounded by Gloucestershire countryside, you can enjoy excellent views across the Golden Valley. Our room.was cosy, clean and very comfortable. We ate in the pub, which was lovely, open fires, candles and excellent food. Great atmosphere, very friendly, really enjoyed our stay.
