Set in the Cotswold market town of Tetbury, this charming town house dates back to 1535 and boasts a restaurant with views of the walled garden and fountain. There is free Wi-Fi and free parking on site. We live this hotel and return every time we are in England. Had a family lunch for 16 which was perfect. Nestled in the pretty Gloucestershire village of Coln St Aldwyns, this beautiful country inn offers a garden overlooking meadows and elegant, individually designed rooms with modern amenities.

Featuring ancient oak beams, fine fabrics and luxurious beds, rooms are full of character. They include a flat-screen satellite TV, free Wi-Fi, a power shower or roll-top bath and either terrace or meadow views. This inn perfectly matches the charm of the village, super cozy and with a nostalgic, almost timeless feel, yet offering all the modern comforts. Our room was spacious and spotless, the bed was very comfortable, and the bathroom included a tub, just as we had requested. The restaurant was also excellent, we really enjoyed both breakfast and dinner. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful throughout our stay. We definitely recommend this place and would love to return!

In the Cotswold village of Frampton Mansell, The Crown Inn is a 17th-century ‘cider house’ with log fires, traditional home-cooked food, locally brewed real ales and good company!

The Crown Inn is a beautiful building dating from 1633. Surrounded by Gloucestershire countryside, you can enjoy excellent views across the Golden Valley. This is our second time staying, and we loved the cozy pub and exceptional meals, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner. We appreciated the real fires that were lit throughout the pub and the dog-friendly atmosphere. It was a quiet place to stay with great views of the Golden Valley. I liked the local Corinium ale they had on tap.

The Market Tavern has a garden, terrace, a restaurant and bar in Bampton. This 4-star hotel offers room service and free WiFi. The property is non-smoking and is situated 26 km from Blenheim Palace.

The rooms in the hotel are fitted with a kettle. Rooms are fitted with a private bathroom with a shower, free toiletries and a hairdryer. At The Market Tavern all rooms include a wardrobe and a flat-screen TV. We loved staying at the Market Tavern in Bampton! Sean greeted us, checked us in and helped with bags. He also made sure we had a dinner reservation which we appreciated. Sean was especially helpful & all service and staff were excellent! We walked the Downton Mile which was our main purpose for staying in Bampton. We drove to Highclere Castle for our tour, which was about an hour drive. But I'm so glad we chose to stay at Market Tavern in Bampton for two nights. We loved the coziness of the Market Tavern, totally enjoyed sitting in the lobby for drinks too!
