Traveling as a solo female, I wondered how safe I would feel walking the couple of blocks to the waterfront would be. It was beautiful. Except for the terrorist support rally I had to cross to get home one evening. Check in was really easy, quick and friendly, the apartment itself fabulous. I would love to return some day and stay much longer.

This campsite is set on the river bank, located in the village of Castellane, within a 5-minute drive of the Verdon Gorge. Free WiFi is provided in public areas and the property has a table tennis table as well as a boules pitch. At night it was quiet once the dinner had finished, but it had a great vibe as offered a group dinner, which looked lovely. The location was great, only a 5 minute car ride into town, stunning location, and the pod we stayed in was so cute and cosy. Absolutely loved it here! And allow dogs..

The location is very convenient—close to the promenade, the famous red carpet, boutiques, and public transport. The room was cleaned daily, the breakfasts were delicious, and the staff was incredibly friendly.
