Our room was spotless, cosy, and had gorgeous views of the mountains and church. Every little detail had clearly been thought through with care. Allison even offered to pop a pizza in the oven for us when we mentioned we were tired from the drive and unsure whether to go out again—that kind of thoughtful gesture really stood out. In the end, we did go out to the nearby lake restaurant they recommended, which was great, but the offer meant a lot. And then there was breakfast… Waking up to the smell of freshly baked bread and croissants was just incredible. It was easily the best breakfast of our trip—generous and delicious. We left feeling relaxed, well looked after, and already talking about when we might come back. It’s a truly special place with really special hosts. Couldn’t recommend it more.
