The classical-style rooms of the Hotel Am Jägertor feature fine materials, air conditioning, and modern bathrooms. Some rooms have a balcony. The room was lovely, smelled really nice and welcoming. The hotel provided Nespresso capsules or high end tea facilities in the room. The bathroom was welcoming and the shower was excellent. Beds were exceptionally comfy. Breakfast was excellent with fresh ingredients though came with a steep Eur 21 per person. The hotel provides parking again at a Eur 20 charge, but considering it's Potsdam, it's OK. The hotel is situated at one of the gates just outside the old quarter with nice boutiques, restaurants or great bars (Fritzen ought to be on the visiting list if one likes quirky bars).

Guest house Villa Fritz is beautifully set in a location surrounded by 3 lakes near Sanssouci Palace and the New Garden. Incredible room!! The attention to details was amazing. Brilliant location, by the waterline, 1 min from a tram stop and a few minutes from a supermarket. Super comfy beds.

We are conveniently set within easy reach of numerous lakes and vast areas of fine parkland. You can amble through Potsdam’s Old Town with its Holländisches Viertel (Dutch Quarter) and its diverse cultural attractions. The other positive reviews were right on. Ease of parking, very very nice owners/managers of the hotel, who were both very helpful, accommodating, and friendly. Even greeted affectionately by a warm friendly lab. Room was really clean and had necessary toiletries and all the little details. Including a wireless mobile charger. Might be the first we’ve seen that available. Great stay and would definitely go back.

Through its central location, the hotel presents the perfect starting point from which to discover by foot the numerous sights and attractions of the area, including of course the Prussian palaces and gardens. Biked from Brandenburg an der Havel along rivers and lakes and multiple ferry boats! 1. Breakfast included-best of our whole trip-expansive with a lot of variety. 2. Room-we were in the modern addition, 2nd floor with balcony overlooking the garden. very modern room and bathroom facilities, excellent shower, a bit compact, but very comfortable. complementary water bottles. Beds very comfortable 3. Covered, locked bike storage. 4. Location-very close to major sites, cafes and bars in the Dutch section. recommend Zum Fliegenden Hollander for dinner-EXCELLENT staff, delicious, excellent cocktails. Hafthorn bar for drinks, food, football games. Next stop: Back to Berlin!
