Perfect location to reach Goslar old town by foot. Super friendly staff.

We had a fantastic stay here. Staff was super lovely, rooms were spotless and clearly recently refurbished. I enjoy a good continental breakfast and the spread was great. Location is perfect, only a short walk to the main square. In one of our tours we learned a bit more about the history of the building. Seeing as it's an old building, we were pleasantly surprised there was virtually no noise from any of the other guests and the streets surrounding were also quiet. Being on the top floor meant a fair bit of exercise as there was no lift. The room ran a little warm, but lots of airing solved that for us.

The owner was extremely nice and helpful, we got a really warm welcoming, with small treats here and there for us as well as for our son. There is a small fridge with welcoming drinks; antique crockery, choice of teas and coffee; an electric teapot and cutlery. There are TV screens in each of two rooms. In the bathroom, there is everything one needs for a comfort stay. The mattresses are thick and tight, blankets are warm, carpets on the floor with a nice shabby pattern. Great idea with toilet night light! Very convenient.

The lock box worked perfectly, and I had no problem getting in. Anton was extremely attentive and quick in replying, The apartment is cozy, besides being renovated. Everything worked very well. There are many parking options close to the property. We had all we needed on foot.

Perfect balance between accessibility and peace. 10/10 Cleanliness – spotless. We arrived early and the owner was still making sure everything was perfectly clean. Couldn't find a single flaw. 10/10 Service – the owner greeted us personally, was super friendly and spoke excellent English. He showed us around, recommended places to eat and visit, and was happy to help with small requests like extra bedding or coffee. 10/10 Room/Hotel – newly renovated, modern, clean, and cozy. We chose the smallest room, but it was more than enough. Bathroom and furnishings were top quality. Facilities – no kettle in the room, but there’s a well-equipped shared kitchen downstairs (kettle, microwave, fridge, oven, stove). Plus, a fridge with German beer for guests – a nice touch! Keep in mind the building has narrow, steep stairs, so might not be ideal for those with mobility issues. For us: 10/10, but objectively: 9/10 Parking – private parking available 200m from the hotel for €5/night. Open-air, spacious, and convenient. 9/10 Price – not the cheapest, but absolutely worth it for the cleanliness, quality, and service. We paid €95 total for one night + parking + local tax (around €53/person). Great value.
