It is conveniently near hiking areas, cycling paths and lakes, 10 km from the Bad Reichenhall exit of the A8 motorway, and 17 km from Salzburg. Very charming hotel in the middle of the alps. Very cozy and a real Bavarian experience

Hotel Keindl offers 3-star accommodation with a sauna, hot tub and hammam. Guests at the accommodation will be able to enjoy activities in and around Oberaudorf, like hiking, skiing and cycling. Hotel Keindl meets all of my criteria: 1) Family run, 2) CLEAN, 3) Restaurant, 4) Bier Garden, 5) In-House Butcher Shop. I was very pleased on all counts, plus my room was large and very quiet. The included Breakfast has an excellent selection including some of their own meats ! Breakfast room is large and bright with plenty of room for moving around the breakfast offerings. There was a person on duty checking me in to the breakfast and directing me where to sit. Very helpful too. Dinner was very good. The servers were attentive and orders were correct. There is a Brass Band Headquarters/Clubhouse directly across the street from the Bier Garten, very convenient and they played from around 6pm till 9pm. A very nice plus ! Laundry service was excellent and a 1 day turn-around, plus very reasonably priced. Parking was available on-site and close to an access walkway you have access to with your room passkey. Staff speak English, and were very pleasant and helpful. They keep some very good candies in the tray/dish on the Reception counter.

Garmisch-Partenkirchen Train Station is 500 metres from Hotel Alpengruss, and the A95 motorway is 15 minutes by car. Free parking is available on site. Everything was perfect, such a nice hotel, exactly what you expect from a mountain hotel. Well decorated rooms with a nice terrace, breakfast had also everything one needs to start a good day. We would definitely come back here if we can.

During the winter months the area is ideal for skiing, with ski lifts 3 km from Hotel AlpinaRos. The popular Königssee Lake is 5 km away. The front desk is only open until 8 PM; afterward, you need to enter and exit through the back door. Encountered three different staff members at different times, one of whom has a lower proficiency in English, but overall, they are all very enthusiastic. The location is also very close to lively areas. The breakfast content and quality are excellent, worth coming back for.

The non-smoking rooms come with soundproof windows, a flat-screen TV and private bathroom with shower and radio. Some rooms feature a balcony. They offer views of the Alps. We were just transiting that area, however now we do consider coming for a holliday. Meet really friendly staff there, provided us with all needed info to quickly adjust to area.
