The view from our balcony was amazing! You have the cloud forest in the grasp of your hand! We received a little map on our arrival and recommendations about the different activities in Monteverde. We really appreciated that. The town Santa Elena is very graphic with friendly people and multiple restaurants! Highly recommend this place.

Breakfast was exceptional. Fruit coffee juice and toast to start witha choice of 5 cooked to order mains including a burrito, waffles, granola and youghert. Hotel is brand new with a lovely minimalist design, polished concrete floors, wood and glass over three blocks. Didnt fully appreciate that this is run to generate profits that go entirely educating local kids. Amazing. Dutch couple running it are inspiring. Great bedding options ( we got 3 singles)

The maneger made us feel at home from we came till we left. We stayed for 4 nights ( 1 extra) He was very helpfull and friendly. The rooms were sporless, clean towels every day, extra towel for swimming-pool and most important, they emptied the bin every day. Our stay at this beautiful accommodation in Matapalo was simply fantastic! From the very first moment, we felt welcome, and the hosts were super friendly and helpful. The accommodation is just a short walk from the beach. The surrounding area and the village itself are lovely and perfect for relaxation – at the same time, we were able to spot some amazing wildlife, such as macaws and sloths. It is conveniently located between Manuel Antonio and Uvita, making it easy to explore both areas. The rooms are spacious, elegantly furnished, and of the highest quality. Everything was impeccably clean and well-maintained. The hosts provided excellent tips for excursions and activities in the area. You can truly feel that they run this place with passion and dedication! Breakfast is freshly prepared every morning based on a selection of options, accompanied by a small bowl of fruit and freshly brewed coffee. We can 100% recommend this accommodation! Such a great experience! It is out in the most beautiful setting and was the perfect place to stay before we flew out of SJO. It's a container house and we had not stayed in one before. The balcony overlooking the valley was spectacular.

Very clean and spacious apartment. Quiet location with a nice privat garden. Very polite and helpful host Andrey and father serving breakfast. Highly recommend this place.

The Manager was nice and notified us we had forgotten our suitcase with a photo. On top he speaks good English and Spanish. Great place to stay, to relax and explore the city and nightlife!
