Great hotel with a lovely pool area and abundance of wildlife. Also very comfortable rooms set in lovely gardens. Hotel staff very friendly and accommodating. Hotel is only a short distance from Puerto Viejo town and easy by tuktuk or bike.

Everything about Hotel Indalo is great! Perfect location, right in town but far enough to no hear the main street. The Gardens are beautiful and well kept, perfect for those that want to connect with nature during their stay. The rooms are lovely, clean, and I really enjoyed not having a TV. But if you need/want a TV moment the wi-fi works great. The pool is a perfect size and great for when you want a little down time. Lastly, the staff is really sweet, helpful, and calm.

Everything! Beautifully designed, new bungalows in the middle of a tranquil oasis of a garden with delightful pool. Also with private outdoor shower! The staff was super friendly and helpful. Some other travellers mentioned it was far from the center but it wasn’t an issue for me, I walked every day and it was about 35 minutes along the beach. Would highly recommend if you want to stay in a beautiful hotel in the middle of nature and have a great night’s sleep while being close to Puerto Viejo.

We stayed at Smile Jungle Hostel for 3 nights and it was great! A very warm and personal welcome, everything was explained very well. The host Gonzalo and his mother are doing a great job, you would not think they only have started 1 month ago! The hostel is very cosy. Good showers and kitchen. If we needed anything, we could just ask or send a WhatsApp. The breakfast is the best we had so far in de past month. You can see and hear a lot of animals around the hostel. Thank you so much for the great stay! Would recommand it to everyone!

What an amazing location, right across the street from the beach. ,Super friendly staff that made us feel very welcomed! Everything was clean and the bed was very comfortable. Delicious breakfast served with great coffe and bread. Great place to stay when visiting Cahuita. We will definetly return in the future.

Set in beautiful forest gardens, a lovely chalet, very spacious bedroom and large bathroom. The accommodation was very comfortable and peaceful at night, we slept very well. There are plenty of birds to see. The hosts are welcoming and very friendly.
