It's located in a good area, it has plenty of restaurants and cafes around (a block or two away). It seems to have been a family house turn B&B. We took the family room, it had a nice comfy bed and it was a pretty big room. The TV has Netflix included. We didn't try the breakfast, so I can't say anything about it.

The hotel is very well located. No more than 10 minutes walk to Palmira town centre. I had a difference in price when I arrived, but it was due to tax charged to all hotels. My mistake, I thought in price tax was included in fee I got online. I had the opportunity to check other hotels in area. This was definitely the best. I love how bright and clean the room and bathroom were and super friendly and helpful all staff were. Breakfast was superb, very traditional colombian breakfast served very quick and always tasty. I love the air-conditioning and fridges in each room. I did not like not having a wardrobe to hang coats and clothes, but they gave me hangers and it was not a problem. Nice warm water too. I would definitely recommend this hotel and I will stay again on my next visit to Palmira.

A friend recommended Oasis and I couldn't be happier to have stayed there! It is located in a very quiet neighborhood, the hostel is spacious, clean, tidy and nice, plus the staff is super friendly. It has a billboard with varied activities that you can do every day, it is very easy to make friends there and to learn salsa, as they offer lessons. They have a spacious kitchen, plenty of areas to chill at and a terrace with a bar. Without a doubt my favorite place on this trip, I hope to be back soon!!

We were recommended this place to stay by a good friend who has stayed there a few times. He was raving about it. We spent 3 nights there in March 2025 and he was spot on. It is very special. When you turn up there is no sign on the door and when it opens, you walk into an amazing oasis in the middle of Cali. It is in a safe location opposite the park and a very short walk to the hub of the historic area of San Antonia. We were greeted by the lovely Lizceth, who had also been communicating brilliantly before our arrival. The wonderful charming owner Jaimie, gave us some spot-on local recommendations on where to go for drinks or dinner. She really made us feel welcome. The rooms are immaculate and have windows looking out onto a courtyard on the ground floor and onto a bright open-air area on the first floor. There is a terrace with the most spectacular views out across the city and the breakfast room is there too …..so what a place to sit! There is a kitchen area with a fridge stocked with drinks and an honesty book for you to write in when you have something. That sums up the place… It did not feel at all like a guest house, it was more like being welcomed into a family. The other guests were also lovely and generous with travel tips. I suspect this is because of the sort of people the Magic Garden House attracts. This was the best place we stayed during our three-week, tour of Colombia. David and Caroline
