Our stay at the Zhangjiajie Lumina Hotel was nothing short of exceptional, easily deserving a 5-star rating. Every aspect exceeded our expectations. Location: Unbeatable Convenience The hotel's location is its greatest asset for any traveler. It is situated just a few minutes' walk from the Zhangjiajie National Forest Park's East Gate. This allowed us to be the first wave of visitors in the morning, beating the crowds. Furthermore, being close to the bus station made arriving from and departing to other cities incredibly easy and stress-free. You truly cannot find a more strategically convenient place to stay for exploring the park. Service: Warm, Professional, and Attentive From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond. They are not only professional but also genuinely warm and friendly. They helped us with maps, gave us great tips for our hiking routes, and were always ready with a smile. Their excellent service made us feel truly welcomed and cared for throughout our trip. Breakfast: Delicious and Varied The breakfast buffet was fantastic. It offered a wide selection of both Chinese and Western options, all of which were delicious and freshly prepared. It was the perfect fuel to start our long days of hiking. We looked forward to it every morning! Cleanliness: Impeccably Maintained The entire hotel, from the spacious lobby to our room, was spotlessly clean. The housekeeping team does an outstanding job. Our room was cleaned to the highest standard every day, which provided a very comfortable and hygienic environment to return to after a day of adventure. We cannot recommend the Lumina Hotel highly enough. It was the perfect base for our Zhangjiajie adventure, and we will definitely stay here again on our next visit.

Zhangjiajie SANHE Hotel features a seasonal outdoor swimming pool, garden, a terrace and restaurant in Zhangjiajie. The property is around 21 km from Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, 2.1 km from Baofeng Lake and 3.1 km from Suoxiyu. The hotel has a hot tub, room service and free WiFi. What a beautiful place! The first thing I said to my wife when we got into the room was, “I want my bedroom to be like this!” It is so beautifully decorated and well-kept. We arrived extremely early and were allowed to check-in early and have breakfast (cannot say that this is the norm, and should be an expectation, this is just our experience). The bath is lovely and the water-pressure from the shower is amazing…..possibly the best shower I’ve had! We appreciated how close it is to the National Park and the Grand Canyon. The staff were very helpful and so welcoming. We managed to book all of our excursions through the hotel and all of our questions (of which there were many!) were answered. If I were to revisit Zhangjiajie, I would stay at this hotel without hesitation. Oh, and a special thank you for collecting us from the train station!

The Hotel is near the Railway Station and the Airport, perfect location to reach everything easily. The starting point for Tianmen Mountain is 20 minutes away walking. The employees were really friendly, helpful and courteas.

We enjoyed our stay here very much. The rooms were clean and comfortable, great air con, and there was a delicious breakfast each morning and an even better view of the mountains. Great location, nice quiet area that was a short walk to restaurants and street food market. The staff were exceptional and so helpful to book our national park tickets, give recommendations and provide coffee and icecreams after a long day of exploring! Special shout out to concierge staff Xiao Song and Rock Lee for being so accommodating and friendly.

The homestay features rooms with air conditioning, free private parking and free WiFi. Lovely place to stay, very central, gorgeous river view. Very helpful host.

It has a shared lounge, mountain views and free WiFi. The accommodation provides full-day security, and luggage storage for guests. The staff was extremely helpful and kind. The location was great - opposite of the entrance to the Tianmen Mt. cablecar. Many restaurants and shops nearby. Rooms were clean, with great water pressure in the shower. Could leave my luggage before and after check in/out.
