There is a hiking path to the lake of Murten just underneath the hotel. 20 minutes drive to Papiliorama, if you want to be there early. The best is to be at Papiliorama as soon as it opens in the morning. The breakfast is delicious and the staff is very friendly and accommodating.

It was a great stay for me. I went at the beginning of december, the weather was cold but the places around are very beautiful. I didn't travel with a car and I had to take different public transportation to arrive to the place, but it wasn't a problem for me. If you want to move freely without schedules it is better to have a car with you. Anyway, the place is gorgeous, the owner is a really nice and kind person and I felt really comfortable. It was great! Recommended!
