Perfect location in the very center of central Basel, right on the Marktplatz. This is now my go-to hotel for whenever business or leisure travel takes me through this part of the world. Fabulously friendly and attentive staff, a super cafe (popular with locals as well as guests: you're going to need to book if you want to have Sunday brunch there...), and very comfy beds with the most comfortable pillows I've ever slept on in a Swiss or German hotel. HIGHLY recommended and worth the price.

Featuring free WiFi and a restaurant, Nomad Design & Lifestyle Hotel is located in Basel, 200 metres from Kunstmuseum Basel. Comfortable room and bed, good continental breakfast. I liked that they have a water, coffee and fruit station which you can access anytime you want. The team is polite and eager to help, check-in and check-out processes were very smooth.

Steinenschanze Charming City & Garden Hotel is less than 5 minutes' walk from Basel's city centre and the university, close to historical buildings and the old town. The hotel is very well maintained and very clean. The breakfast buffet was amazing! There is a quiet cozy garden in the back where we had our free welcome drink and the stress of the traveling dissipated right away! The staff is super helpful and friendly!
