The house is in pristine condition and tastefully decorated. The room is the only room in the home that is rented. We were mostly unaware of the family's presence. The kitchen was available to make our own breakfast. Eggs, coffee, juice, milk, cereal, fruit, etc, were provided. The room had plenty of storage space, including a walk-in closet. The double sink in the bathroom was much appreciated. The shower was great. We didn't use the tub. We didn't make much use of the porch/balcony because of the cool weather, but it would have been great in warm weather. The location was perfect for us: Only 10 minutes to downtown Charlottetown and more or less in the center of the island. Would highly recommend.

The best property we stayed at in our five week trip through Canada and the US. We had the “Captain’s Room”, big airy and quiet (we could open the windows for fresh air) the location is great. The staff were friendly and welcoming. It was clean and tidy - felt like home! The Fish Pie WAS THE BEST I HAVE EVER EATEN - ANYWHERE!! Breakfast was excellent too.

We needed a base to travel all over Prince Edward Island and Cairns Motel at Summerside fit the bill. The safe, quiet environment and comfortable beds ensured restful nights and allowed us to resume our daily trips feeling refreshed. Our room was super clean! Facilities maintenance is first-rate. Convenient parking at our doorstep made loading and unloading easy. Great location and close to restaurants. Overall an excellent place at a very affordable rate!
