He also had a car you could rent if you wanted to drive yourself around. Churchill is small and you can walk anywhere in 20 minutes. Everyone who lives there knows everyone else, only 800 locals. They are very friendly and helpful, just like all the Canadians we have met on our trip. Went on Discover Churchill day trip in 4wd drive van, highly recommended, Dave was awesome and found us bears and showed us other local attractions. Two vans work in tandem with cb radio communication looking for bears.

It’s a walking distance from the train station grocery town complex and the hospital and manager owner John Sr was soo nice giving us all the info needed where to eat shop and he accommodated us for a 3 hour tour with history of Churchill the iconic places and the tourism industry thanks a lot John we could not have enjoyed our stay (off season) without your help
