As for the facilities, Lanson Place is a top notch hotel and a great base to explore Melbourne. Situated right next to Parliament Gardens, its well connnected by tram and metro rail and just a short walk away from some of the best food districts in Melbourne. The staff were amazing, the air conditioning just right, and the views from the 5th floor suite we booked extremely pleasing.

The property is 200 metres from the city centre and 700 metres from Southern Cross Station. Our very spacious and comfortable apartment was located on the 54th floor, and the view was simply amazing. It was clean, nicely furnished, and equipped with all amenities one would need for a pleasant stay. As for the facilities, the gym was great and well equipped.

The apartment was stylish, spacious and well furnished, the bathroom was clean and comfy, but things that made our stay exceptional was an amazing Spanish girl from the front desk, who was very friendly, helpful, she introduced us to the facilities of the hotel, informed us about surroundings, the city, recommended the bar on the top floor with an amazing view. We were also able to check-in earlier since our room was ready. I really appreciate the hotels that has check-out at the hour that doesn’t force guests to set an alarm in a phone, and The StandardX is one of them (human-friendly hotel) - standard check-out is at 12:00. Really recommend that place!

There is small one too just at the entrance to the hotel. And, there are several eateries around.
