This wasn’t my first stay at the hotel, and it continues to hold a special place for my family — especially my 3-year-old son, who affectionately calls it “our home.” It’s always been a comfortable and familiar place for us. This time, however, there was a slight issue with the room — a faint but noticeable smell that I couldn’t quite identify. I’m not sure if it contributed to my seasonal allergy symptoms, but it was a minor inconvenience during an otherwise pleasant stay. Overall, everything else was great and up to the usual standard. One small suggestion would be to see a bit more warmth and smiles from the staff, which would make the experience feel even more welcoming. Looking forward to returning again soon.

All rooms have a balcony overlooking the mountains. It was our second time. The service of the hotel went beyond every expectation. The whole atmosphere of the hotel is charming. The room was comfortable, well-equipped, had a nice view from the balcony. The buffet breakfast had a great variety, and the 5 meal dinner was absolutely the finest dining experience, accompanied by a great service from the whole restaurant team. And last but not least the wellness, with a dedicated sauna area, sauna infusions offered 4 times a day, that is also a top quality. We were in the pre-season, but the price–performance ratio is absolutely great.

IMLAUER Hotel Schloss Pichlarn is a family run hotel, situated on an elevation in the Ennstal valley in Styria, at the foot of the Grimming mountain massif. Free WiFi is available throughout the property and free private parking is offered. The room was very spacious, clean, nicely decorated, the beds were comfy, there was a coffees machine and water boiler with an assortment of tea and coffee. The restaurant had delicious food. Breakfast was plenty. Spa, swimming pool and gym were clean and very nice. Very kind with dogs, the room was prepared for the four-legged guest, too. We appreciated it very much.
