I stayed at Shose Farmhouse with my mom for four nights, and it was hands down our favorite accommodation during our two weeks in Tanzania. We booked the room last minute on a Sunday evening and arrived just an hour later. Despite the short notice, everything went incredibly smoothly. The staff welcomed us with such warmth, and the check-in process was seamless. Our room was beautiful - spotlessly clean, fresh, and modern, with a lovely atmosphere that made us feel instantly at home. Each morning, we enjoyed breakfast in their charming outdoor dining area. The food was delicious, with plenty of options, and we especially loved the homemade yoghurt made from milk from their own cows (which we also got to meet!). The farm-to-table experience was truly unique - they grow their own vegetables and keep chickens and cows, which adds a special touch to the stay. Although we had a packed itinerary in Moshi, we also found time to relax at the farmhouse, and it was the perfect place to do so. The peaceful surroundings and the genuine hospitality of the staff made every moment enjoyable. A special shoutout to Adeline, whose cheerful “good morning” always started our day with a smile. Benson was another highlight - he took some beautiful photos of us with Kilimanjaro in the background, right outside our room. We also had the pleasure of meeting Ismael, the assistant manager. Such a wonderful person, with a calming presence and attention to detail. He took the time to show us around the property, explaining how everything works and what they grow. He even wrote down some essential Swahili phrases for us, which was such a thoughtful gesture. To the entire team at Shose Farmhouse - asante sana! You truly go the extra mile to make guests feel welcome and cared for. Your kindness, attention to detail, and the unique charm of the farmhouse made this an unforgettable experience. Highly recommended to anyone visiting Moshi!

Very nice stay here. We loved their building project and had a really good time in the common areas. John is always there to help with anything you need and his breakfasts are terrific. We met awesome people in here and had peaceful and joyful moments together. Not far away from downtonw but far from busy streets so it's the perfect spot. You'll love it! More Than A Drop (MTAD) is an oasis in Moshi. I stayed for about a week in February 2025. MTAD is located just outside of Moshi. Although I mostly just walked to town tuk tuks or motorcycle rides come by every minute or two. Ths staff are friendly and helpful. They accomodated any request including 5 AM breakfast. Milli arranged for transportation and advised on tours. The breakfast and dinners were delicious offering traditional local dishes as well as conventional favorites. Especially mango sorbet! Much is grown in the gardens. Everything is prepared in house, including fresh baked breads and cakes in the morning. The facility is spotlessly clean. I spent many hours relaxing in the shade on a setee or sipping cold lager on the patio. My time there will be remembered as a hilight of my trip.
