We loved Zen Boutique so much! We felt extremely welcome and the staff were all wonderful. We were given a lot of information and offered support in organising activities. Our suitcase was lost and the staff took care of the communication with the airport, making sure our luggage arrived at destination. The Resort is beautiful and located on the edge of the forest. It was very special, especially during sunset. The food and cocktails were also very good and breakfast amazing. It all feels very new and is decorated with taste. The outside bathroom was also a very cool experience. Best place we stayed in Zanzibar, and there were quite a few. We’ll definitely be back!

The Hotel is wonderfull, the restaurant is the best we had in Zanzibar. It is super clean, has a good location in Jambiani and it has everything you need. The hosts are out of this world, they have been most helpful and they are going out of their way to help you with everything you need, best hotel owners we’ve seen in the last decade at least. I totally recommand this place, would rate it higher than 5 stars if i could, oh and did i tell you about how good the food is? It can compete with any major hotel in Europe

Amazing accomodations. The same as the pictures shown. Really great value for money. Paola, the host, si wonderful- taking care and doing the best. Residence is very nice, apartment is large, very good equipped kitchen, huge terrace. Close to the beach, and two pools are the best! Breakfast are sweet, bread, buns, jam, chocolate, juice, milk yogurt. Little minimarket is on the main road, also you can buy the a fresh fruit from residents. We spent there 6 nights.

The absolute best place to arrive in Paradise and slow down. The friendliest staff I’ve ever met, best food and the best best vibe. A home away from home. I will definitely come again!!! The rooms are very clean, there are enough spots to enjoy by yourself or mingle with everyone if you prefer. Food is delicious and you are always greeted with a smile. The hotel and the location were exactly what we had dreamed of. This was our first trip to Zanzibar and we wanted to stay in a small and personal boutique hotel on a beautiful beach and that was exactly what we got. The atmosphere was relaxed and personal. We felt so pampered. The entire hotel is tastefully decorated. We stayed in a family suite with 3 separate bedrooms and bathrooms. There was also a living room and a fantastic terrace with a view of the Indian Ocean. We woke up to the sound of waves and the sun rising over the sea. The restaurant was open all day and we were well taken care of with breakfast, lunch and dinner when we wanted. From the bar we were looked after at the sun loungers with fresh mango juice, fresh fruit and good drinks. Jambiani beach is a real paradise beach with several smaller hotels and nice restaurants. It is a quiet and friendly atmosphere with a mix of tourists and locals. Beth helped book a fantastic sailing and guided tour to a spice farm and Stone Town which was both entertaining and interesting.
