The staff was indeed the best part of the stay. They are all ready to help and also willing to go the extra mile to make you feel as comfortable as possible. The room was very clean, very big and cozy. Food was great too, many options, great prices and the atmosphere is very good.

Safari Villa I’d located close to the main road into town and to the airport. It was clean, well organized and the staff were awesome! The facilities were great and the owner, George, was very helpful. I was there on a Sunday and wanted to attend mass so he arranged everything for me!

We stayed here on two occasions-before and after our safari- and it truly felt like home (but better!). Elly took care of everything for us: airport transfers, late check-out, food made to order, wine by the pool: you name it, we got it, with a smile! I even discovered that my safari-shattered trainers had been washed while we were out :) This villa is a little oasis: we loved watching the weaver birds build their nests by the pool while we enjoyed our meals. It was such a personalized experience after the bustling tour group filled safari lodeges, and that is what made it so special.

The hotel will arrange massages and other treatments upon request. The area is busy, full of hustle and bustle but it’s an ideal location to be picked up for a tour.

Breakfast and dinner were great. The location is not so easy to access if you go alone, but with the help of locals you can easily reach the hotel, which is well known there. The place was also very clean and the rooms were well organized. It was super worth it for the price and length of stay. Zena is very sweet and friendly! And as for security, we were able to leave our bags in the rooms, which had locks, so it was super peaceful too.

Despite the very low cost our rooms had everything we needed and were very comfortable, staff was super friendly, breakfast was large and very tasty. The location wasn’t an area to stroll around in, very poor, but we felt safe and secure.

Wow, what a find! Tucked away in a lush banana plantation near Arusha, this eco-hostel stole my heart. My cozy barn cabin felt like a treehouse dream, complete with a porch swing and stunning Mount Meru views. But the real showstopper? The incredibly cheap eats and drinks! I feasted on delicious organic meals straight from the farm without breaking the bank. If you're after an authentic Tanzanian experience that's easy on the wallet, Banana Farm Eco Hostel is a must-visit. Trust me, your taste buds and your budget will thank you!

The location is very good, close to the city centre Good price Very clean and good hot water supply Good option if you are looking for a short stay, but not quite comfortable for more than 1-2 nights stay

The location was ideal, close to the city centre and can easily connect to work, school, sporting and many other entertaining places. The staff I met were simply amazing!
