The host was really friendly and helpful. Breakfast was the best I have ever had. Rooms were nice and clean, the best linen and comfortable beds in Tunisia. Rooftop was nice, we enojoyed reading there. I would have wanted to stay longer in Dar Maya. I am really thankful for everything they had prepared.

Dar Hi was easily one of the best places we've stayed -- beautiful facilities, delicious organic food (both dinner and breakfast was included), peaceful venue overlooking the palms, interesting architecture, kind staff (we received great recommendations and one staff member helped us find a great tour), and the pool which was warmed by natural springs was so fun to swim in. It was easy to tour the Star Wars site, the medina, and oases in the desert from this Dar.

Delightful courtyard with birds flying in and out, spacious rooms off, efficient heating in the living room and double bedroom as the nights were cold, located 10 minutes walk from the town (street lighting so it wasn’t dark at night) at the edge of the Palmerie. Moustapha was away but his nephew Anwar was at hand and was unfailingly helpful. The place was very clean.

Fatima and Taieb are truly the best! You really know the magic of being the best hosts! I had the time of my life in Villa Fatima. I was encouraged to have a day tour with driver at Chebika Oasis and all the amazing places, then 1 night in a tent in Sahara. After the night in Sahara (by the way the best sunset and sunrise of my life), I had a day tour with Taieb and had so much fun. This all was extra and we made a clear deal about the payment, and I appreciate that they really wanted me to get to know the best places in Tunisia. I was heard all the time and they really made sure everything is great. I have never had this trustful connection with any guesthouse and I can recommend it to everyone. Even if you didn't take the "extra tours", I promise that you will feel very welcoming and warm and they will tell you the best places to visit in Tozeur. The room was perfect, the breakfast was out of this world🤩 ✨✨

We were so happy to find Dar Fatima. First we were not sure how noisy it would be because it is located right in the middle of the city and surrounded by two mosques. We all slept through the night and the morning calls to prayer were so brief that we were not awoken by them. Immediately we booked the second night stay. The location proved to be ideal. After strolling around the hustle and bustle of the medina, when you come back to Dar Fatima, it is peaceful and quiet like you are leaving all the noise behind you, outside the door. The entire premise is super clean and neat. What I like the most is the comfy bed with luxurious bed sheets. Rooms are so cozy, you can tell the owners pay a lot of attention to details. Breakfast was plentifully provided and the handmade bread was so delicious. Don't miss the view from the rooftop terrace. If you don't know where to visit in the area, the owner will be more than happy to suggest various routes depending on your interests.
