It is perfect place to see the aurora, which is one of the most important interests for us to stay here. We can even see the aurora (the beautiful northern lighting) from the inside of the house. We have the feeling of staying at home, especially several friends coming together, sounds like taking party every day. It is best nature environment, silent and good view of forest, ice and snow, and close to the river or lake, you can see beautiful sun-rising and sun-down. We can take free choice to go to the restaurant or cook a bit by ourselves, and then drink a bit in the evening with much relaxing. There are good enough cooking facilities. Especially, there is the fireplace, which make us very much cozy when we come back from the cold winter outside. It is a typical Swedish stuga, but very good location. We love it so much. The house holder is very much warm and considerate, and can help us to take some exciting activities like snowmobile, dogsledding, ice-fishing, hunting the northern lighting etc., which are typical and unique in this region. We are very much impressive and enjoyable to stay in this property, where is close to the famous ice hotel, Sami-village and museum, and not so far from Kiruna city, railway station and airport. It is the perfect place for a family or some good friends to stay here and enjoy the cozy life.

The property matches the description really well. It was a bit larger than expected actually and super comfortable beds, duvets, sheets, plenty of soft pillows. Ultra clean. BUT… the really huge quality of this place is its uniqueness! Located in a very quite, secluded place at the very end of a winding road towards a stunning lake, the mini-lodge opens up as a one-of-a-kind oasis of calmness and beauty. You can really see the lake from your seat or bed and - whether permitting - see the Northern light in its fullest glory as ever moving curtains of light above the lake against the background of mountains. The only sounds are the wind whispering through the trees, the water ebbing and flooding softly against the shore and some occasional fish grasping your attention as are plenty of water birds. I found the sauna also a big bonus, again because of its location, cleanliness and authenticity: wooden fire flickering - no electrical stove :-)

I had a wonderful stay here. The hosts were incredibly kind and welcoming, and I truly felt taken care of from the first moment. The house was spotless, warm and very cozy — with lovely little touches that immediately created a homely atmosphere. A special thank you to Ella, the hostess. Her attention to detail is outstanding: so many small but thoughtful things in the room that you rarely find even in big hotels. It really shows how much she cares about her guests. The bed was warm and perfect for winter nights in the north — I slept great. I also appreciated the possibility to try homemade dishes, including traditional dumplings or even reindeer, which is a unique experience. The hosts also offer private tours, and that was amazing. I didn’t expect to have any plans on my arrival day, but the host immediately helped me, drove me to the Ice Hotel and to see reindeer, picked me up afterwards — everything with genuine kindness. And one more huge thank you to Ella for the homemade cakes she treated me with one evening. It was incredibly delicious and such a heartfelt gesture. I truly recommend this place. Wonderful people, warm atmosphere and a stay I will remember with gratitude.
