We had a very short stop here, but the place was nice. A spacious and clean apartment, very friendly host, all kitchen appliances were provided, Wi-Fi was good. The location was nice, a private parking spot was provided, and a supermarket and restaurant within walking distance. It is a very quiet area, and the bed is comfortable. Sam, the manager, was very friendly and attentive.

The host Bertrand was absolutely exceptional in every way, extremely friendly and helpful. The location is excellent. The area on the island La Vida is located on is on the eastern side BUT the suburb is outside of the very busy part of the island so going getting to most other parts of the island was easy and not through too much traffic (unless going to Victoria). La Vida has a beautiful view of the ocean and you can walk to the beach. Our hosts, Alfred and Marthe were most gracious and helpful. Once we arrived, they organized car hire, a deep-sea fishing trip and advised other excursions we wanted to experience. We thus always got the "local" knowledge and local cost, not the "foreigners" rate that sometimes get levied on visitors. They also willingly shared their knowledge of the Island, where to go and what to do. We would not hesitate to recommend La Vida to anyone wanting to experience the Seychelles and Mahe Island.

The villa is located on a lovely hill with breathtaking views of the garden and the lush jungle, and every morning you wake up to the sound of birds singing. It’s a peaceful, calming place surrounded by nature – perfect for anyone looking to relax and unwind. The owner is absolutely incredible – we have never experienced anything like this anywhere else. When we arrived, she had prepared exotic fruits for us, chilled beer, water, and even everything we needed for breakfast the next day, including cold cuts, jams, and more. It was such a thoughtful and heartwarming welcome. During our stay, we used the grill to prepare fresh fish, which made the whole experience feel like a tropical getaway. Everything was always perfectly clean and well-kept. Every day she checked in to ask if we were happy or needed anything, and often brought us another small gift – homemade treats or more exotic fruit. The garden is beautiful, the views are stunning, and the overall atmosphere is wonderfully peaceful and relaxing. We can wholeheartedly recommend this place – it truly feels like paradise.

Everything was wonderful, very clean,the manager helped us with everything we needed, including offering to drive us shopping.The location is a little difficult, being at the top of a hill, but it compensates with the panorama.Because we had a flight in the evening, we were given a room where we left our luggage and where we took a shower before leaving. Close to the airport. Good quality-price ratio. Definitely recommend.
