I absolutely loved this place. Felt like home away from home. The place was quiet and spotless. Patience, the owner was very communicative, helpful and extremely friendly. There was also a kitchen to use and Patience can also prepare for you very nice meals for affordable price. Drinking water was also provided. Only 10-12 minutes walk to the centre, bus terminals, supermarkets.

Breakfast was a treat. Tasty and fresh. The room had everything we needed with a lovely touch of fresh flowers in the room. We used the yoga mat and weights in the morning. Chance, the lady who looked after us was delightful and so helpful.

If you are looking for an authentic Rwandan experience and seeing the local life from inside - this place is for you! I had an amazing stay with Monique, Norbert and their two lovely daughters. They all made sure that I had a very special time here. The house is beautiful and the room is very clean. The food was delicious. Monique and Norb also helped me to organize a treck to see the Twin Lakes and Golden monkeys treck in the Volcanoes national park. Monique also offered to have a city tour with me, seeing the local markets (we did it by boda boda which was an experience in itself :) The family explained to me a lot about Rwandan culture and nature. This was truly one of the best travelling experiences I have ever had. My home away from home! And it was very difficult to say goodbye at the end of this lovely journey together. I really do hope we will meet again and I'm sure our connection will last. Once again, thank you all for making it so special for me!

William the manager speaks english and french. He is very reactive and helpful. The food was nice but above the place whre the lodge stands is perfect. On the lake shore with a sublime view on the volcanos for the sunset and the sunrise. A small piece of paradise. Highly recommended!

The host is realy friendly and welcoming. He also works in the local tourism and thus knows great places to visit apart from the gorilla trekking. Our car broke down the morning we wanted to leave and he was a great help with getting the right mechanics.

The owner and staff were incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, and adaptable. They were great about helping me when my plans changed suddenly, and went out of their way to make sure I was comfortable and taken care of. Art studio was cute. Good location. Basic amenities, but great for the price.
