Really clean and cozy appartement in the middle of Pinhão, most things are within walking distance. Amazing breakfast with all home made cakes and marmelades that tasted amazing. The hostess was really lovely and caring, making scrambled eggs on request for everyone staying. Even though they could not speak English she did everything to bond over breakfast using a translation app, which felt very welcoming. Really new apartment for an unbelievable price. Would definitely recommend booking when visiting the Douro valley!

Our host was very responsive. We arrived to find port and delicious oranges on the table. Location excellent.Close to train station and supermarket. We are experienced travellers and highly recommend staying at Casa Da Fa. Apartment wonderful. Don’t look any further. Stay at Casa da Fa.😀 Thank you for a lovely stay at your apartment.

We were met by the very friendly and helpful host, Isabella. She showed us through our apartment and explained that a breakfast basket would be delivered to our door at our preferred time in the morning. It was loaded with goodies like fresh bread, cheese, ham, yogurt and fruit. We received such a basket with fresh food on each morning of our stay. The property has a pool and lounge area with majestic views over the picturesque Douro Valley. It was a great spot to eat our breakfast and relax in the evening after a busy day out and about. A morning and afternoon swim was a must. We absolutely recommend this property. Thank you Isabella !!

Helena was present to welcome us upon our arrival and to give us the keys to the house and show us how everything worked and where to find everything. Helena is such a wonderful person, so kind and helpful. The house is very comfortable and offers plenty of light from the outside. The view to the vines is beautiful. The house is very clean. The pool table was a plus. There is also a jacuzzi but we did not use. We enjoyed the hearty breakfast in the morning. The kitchen is very well equipped for the preparation of other meals. Lots of hot water and very good pressure. There is a dedicated laundry area on the first floor with full size and separate washer and dryer. This is rare in Europe. We also appreciated the bathrobes and slippers. The restaurants and waterfront are 5 minutes down the hill by car. Car parking was easy. We stayed 1 week and we would come back anytime. The house is centrally located to most of the vineyards in the Douro Valley.

Location : Less than 5 mins walking from the train station. Perfect for dropping off the bags and going for winery tour. yes, it's little hilly way up. Room : It's a whole apartment, not just a single studio type room. Fully equipped kitchen, living room is well set up to relax. I found beds are comfier than average vacational rental ones. Clean & Spacious! Hospitality : Owner welcomed us upon arriving, explained few details might be tricky for travelers, like how to lock the door. She provided us coffee & tea, breakfast items & snacks. I believe breakfast is not included but it was thoughtful gesture since there is not much around the town, especially in off season. Feels right away that she genuinly cares, hence excellent reviews all around.

Friendly and welcoming hosts. It feels like you are a long lost friend. I was greeted with a big smile by Pedro. The house is extremely clean and modern. Bed was comfortable. I slept very well. The view from my dorm is exceptional. I would come back just for that. Sara and Pedro are amazing people.. lucky we didn't get apples thrown in our direction haha

We also had a wine tour and tasting at Quinta de Cume, which was booked for us by the receptionist, and we walked though the vineyards to get to it… views phenomenal . The unexpected tour of the original house and the explanation of history of the vineyard and property by the son of the owner was exceptional . This happened before an exceptionally tasty dinner which we had at the property … truly a memorable stay and I would highly recommend .

This apartment was very clean and well stocked with little essentials and snacks in the kitchen. Location was perfect and a beautiful little sitting area right outside the front door. We were only there for 1 night but it was perfect.

The guest house was in a perfect location and was very stylish. Owners were extremely helpful and friendly. The room was lovely and very clean. Breakfast was ok. Parking was a huge bonus. Views from the house were wonderful. Its an easy walk to town for restaurants and boat trips. Bruno has a vinyard and makes delicious wines. Definitely worth trying while relaxing in the lounge. Highly recommend this guest house.

In Douro Backpackers you feel that the staff has had all the experiences of backpacking themselves and turned it into the very best practice you can imagine. We felt more than welcome from the very moment we opened the door until the heartfelt goodbye. It is the perfect location to meet up with other travellers, the roofterrace and the breakfastroom are ideal spots for this purpose. We never in our whole lifes (which are pretty long, with lots of travelling) have never come across a place like this. Go there and see for yourselves!

The location is good. If you have a large group, and you're not concerned about aesthetics, and have a very small budget, then this is suitable. The terraces were a plus.

A superb location for views along the river from the roof terrace. A very clean, modern and well appointed apartment.

We stayed on the ground floor, and were pleasantly surprised by the size, and presentation of our room. The view from our 'terrace', the 'pool' and the breakfast room was beautiful - probably the nicest in all of Pinhao! The location is also ideal if you don't mind a 10/15 minute walk to the centre of Pinhao - although I wouldn't recommend the route for young families as the start of the walk is along the roadside. There is also a gorgeous HUGE dog who lives on site - a gentle giant :)
