From the moment we walked into Salem’s guesthouse we knew we had chosen the right place to stay in Al Hadd. It’s such a cute, clean guest house oozing with character and charm. Salem welcomed us with tea, coffee and fruit and we chatted before he showed us our lovely room. I spontaneously decided to do the horse riding at the lagoon at sunset and Salem was happy to take me there, it was amazing! We enjoyed fabulous food together with Salem and the other guests, it was such a homey and relaxed atmosphere. As someone who is not good at relaxing, it’s hard not to relax and feel at home at Salem’s guest house! To top off an amazing stay, Salem took us out on his boat in the morning where we saw dolphins, turtles and snorkelled with hundreds of fish. Salem also took us to the best juice / coffee shop in town, not to mention the super magical experience of releasing baby turtles into the sea. Salem is the best host and you absolutely must stay here when visiting Al Hadd!

Great value for money, amazing location which was close to the beach and within reasonable driving distance to Ras Al Jinz. Nice outdoor facilities to lay back and relax. Staff were extremely nice and knowledgeable. Special shout out to Ektheir who made us feel very welcome!

Everything. From the moment we arrived Abdullah and his team made us feel very welcome with tea, dates, sweets, cakes and fruit. We room was very comfortable and clean. It was close to the beach. Having a fridge was very useful. Because of outdoor space we got to know other guests. Trips were organised to see the turtles, dolphins and for snorkling.

A wonderful stay full of kindness and magic! We had an amazing experience at Afaq Guest House! The host was incredibly flexible and kind — we had accidentally booked two apartments, and he kindly canceled one for free just two days before our arrival. He also arranged a delicious dinner even though we confirmed only 50 minutes before getting there! Everything was spotless, and both dinner and breakfast were homemade and delicious. Our kids absolutely loved the experience — the host showed us the glowing light plankton at night, rescued little turtles crossing the road, and even arranged a last-minute night tour to see the big turtles on the beach. He was friendly, responsive, and truly went above and beyond to make our stay special. Afaq Guest House felt like staying with friends — we highly recommend it to anyone visiting Oman!

Sea Turtles Guest House is a fabulous place. The host, Mr Abdullah, is very welcoming and friendly. He was constantly providing us with snacks and one night even provided a full meal for all the guests. Rooms are a good size and very clean. Wifi is good. Pool and garden area is really nice. Breakfast is amazing. Area is very quiet. Didn't want to leave!! The only negative is the amount of plastic rubbish lying around between the Guest House and the beach. This is not the fault of the Guest House. But it is such a shame that such a beautiful location is spoiled in this way.

Super OYO 110 Ras Al Hadd Guest House is located in Al Ḩadd, 27 km from Sur. Each room at this guest house is air conditioned and has a flat-screen TV with satellite channels.

Even if the fact that the hotel is located by an old WWIi British airport runway sounds astonishing, visually it's not as impressive as expexted...still gives the hotel a nice "extra". 😄 Rooms are big and clean, breakfast was good even if I missed at least some vegetables. The best on this hotel is the stuff here. Haven't experienced that often such an outgoing support in anything we needed. Within a rating range from 1 to 10, I would give them 11 points. Few minutes after check in I received via Whatsup suggestions where to have dinner or where to book a turtles tour. For dinner ( it got dark already)we decided to go for the received suggestion, Google maps showed it was about a 20min walk, so we thought why taking the car. After about 5min, a car appeared behind us. It was our receptionist who cought us up and drove us to the restaurant on the end. 😁

Everything was amazing. Great dinner with fresh fish, very good breakfast. Also the owner can arrange a boat trip for you in a very reasonable price. Great spacious rooms. And the object is also very new. Highly recommended!
