Such a lovely place! Really beautiful and peaceful and the food is so good! The cabana is beautiful and the outside shower is so nice. I was expecting the nights to be really hot because there is no AC, but it was not hot at all. And the fans work really good. Highly recommend this place!

This property is within walking distance to San Juan de Oriente and Catarina where there is much to see and do if you are a creative traveller or on a walking holiday that passes nearby. This family of artists are simply wonderful; they went out of their way to make my stay as a solo traveller more enjoyable, introducing me to the fruits i brought in the local town and even showing me some ancient stone carvings in their local woodland. The accommodation offers excellent value for money and i enjoyed a wonderful ceramics lesson with a master ceramicist. Here you can enjoy an authentic Nicaraguan experience in terms of the surrounding environment whilst feeling safe, and knowing your hosts are trying to improve their local environment. Fall asleep listening to sounds of the forest and wake up to watch monkeys in the trees.

It was a unique experience. We loved everything about this place. It is incredibly beautiful, elegant and peaceful, the view is breathtaking and the staff is extremely attentive and polite. Our suite was very spacious, clean and comfortable. Everything feels and looks new. We also loved the beautiful garden and the pool. Casa Bella is by far one of my favourite get-aways in the whole world! Ive been there twice, and cant wait to be back!! Bella is a great host and the whole place is an incredible experience. The furniture, the paintings, the whole vibe makes you feel immersed in a dream. Everything is beautiful and extra comfortable, lots of areas to hang out, great wifi, fully equipped kitchen, and an amazing bed. Private and quiet beach with super cool chairs and tanning beds under the trees. They were so kind to my two dogs too!! Really, I couldn't recommend it enough!! Definitely stay at Casa Bella if you are ever in Laguna de Apoyo. Thank you Bella and staff and see you soon!!

I was led to believe my booking was confirmed and then when opening the Booking.com app when I was nearing the hotel to get the exact location, I found my booking had been canceled. It was very unexpected and extremely inconvenient.

Super friendly, welcoming people and the dog was nice too. Very available at all times, very clean. I came walking from the bus terminal at the market and initially had some trouble finding the address as people didn’t know the place, but as soon as I found the right neighborhood, locals told me where to go without even asking and Maria + her husband were already awaiting me at the door
