We had an excellent stay at Starlight. The space was very clean, well-maintained, and exactly as described in the listing. It was comfortable, peaceful, and had everything needed for a smooth and enjoyable stay. Rajesh was an outstanding host, attentive, friendly, and very easy to communicate with. He responded quickly to any questions and made sure I felt supported throughout my stay. His thoughtful approach and professionalism really stood out. Loved the view from top apartment where we stayed. Close location to river mouth. Jean Claude went out of his way to accommodate our early check-in and was always available for any further questions. Pool was a welcoming refreshment.

really sweet place with absolutely lovely staff!! nice rooms, clean. the breakfast pastries and eggs were amazing! Great location near the beach and very close to restaurants, supermarket etc. Feels very safe. They helped book us for an amazing Catamaran cruise tour, so fun!

The place was very clean and comfortable. Kerstin was such a lovely host and helped us settle in and know other places to get things we needed for our stay like taxis and halal restaurants. We would definitely recommend for any body visiting the eastern side of Mauritius.

Highly recommended to stay at le Maho Ahavah!! We had an absolutely wonderful experience during our stay! From the moment we arrived, everything was seamless — check-in was quick, the hosts were genuinely warm and welcoming, and the atmosphere made me feel right at home. They even put together a care package for us. The rooms were spotless, spacious, and beautifully maintained, with every little detail thoughtfully taken care of. The beds were extremely comfortable, the amenities were top-notch, and everything worked perfectly. We especially appreciated how quiet and peaceful it was — perfect for relaxing after a long day. The location couldn’t be better — close to everything we needed yet calm and safe. The beach was less than 5 minutes walk away from the property with lots of local vendors around. Overall, we wouldn’t hesitate to come back again and will definitely recommend it to friends and family. Thank you for making our trip so enjoyable and memorable! 🌟

From arrival to stay until departure, all the support and suggestions. I liked everything. It is a place to make your base to explore the eastern part of the island. Andrea is an amazing host, he is super kind and helpful. He will get you the best deals, best suggestions, and best tips to explore the island. The house is super clean, pool is amazing. The area is peaceful. It is a perfect spot to rest, relax, and if you want adventures--just ask Andrea and he will organise it :) I'd love to come back and stay again at his property. It is a nice place for a solo travellers to a family of four to a couple. Just read the past reviews and give it a try, you'll experience it yourself.
