This place felt so authentic. The hotel is situated in the middle of atlas mountain in a small village. The host and his family were super friendly. The room was very clean. Thank you for having us. Can definitely recommend this place. Streets the hotel is well accessible by car. The last 100 meters to the hotel you will have to walk. You walk through the village which also was a great highlight. Food was very delicious!

A little piece of paradise; incredible terrace views, wild swimming in natural pools, hiking to waterfalls, amazing breakfast and dinner.. 10/10 1) stay at least 2 nights 2) ask Mohammed for the guided tour to the pools and waterfalls.. 3) walk through the gorgeous gardens and chill on the terrace.. Megdaz is a 1000 year old Berber village high in the mountains, nestled in a stunning valley of stone terraces filled with fruit trees, crops and wild flowers.. Hidden away are the most incredible natural pools and waterfalls where you could easily spend a day sat by the side sunbathing and reading and having a refreshing dip or sit in the natural jacuzzi seats..easily the best I have ever been too, and for the more adventurous a hike to match back round the top of the valley with incredible views. Mohammed and his family are the most welcoming of hosts, the food is amazing and Mohammed is happy to tell you stories and explain the history of the village and the area. Went for one night, stayed for two, regret leaving 🤣

I liked the atmosphere and people around. The property is operated by the family that lives in there. The owner is a very nice person. I have been there already twice and I hope I will have an opportunity to return there again.

We spent one night here during our trip across the High Atlas. The owner speaks English and was very pleasant. The accommodation is very nice and I recommend it also for a group of more people, as the common room is spacious. The house has a nice garden. It is a quiet, clean and pleasant place to relax.

Mahfoud gave us a very warm welcome. We were cycling in the Atlas Mountains on our way to Marrakech via the Atlas Mountain Race route. He immediately made us a huge meal (his mother does the cooking – it's a family business), and it was the best Tagine so far on our trip. After dinner, he sat with us and we exchanged information about our nationalities and traditions. A very interesting conversation, I hope for both of us. A great sleepover for bikepackers.
