Raj was a fantastic host. We were there for three nights, and were made to feel very much at home. The room was very comfortable and had a nice terrace. The garden was peaceful and very private, which was perfect for sunbathing and relaxing without worrying about “dress code”. It was a relaxing and homely environment. We had a very nice breakfast each morning, and in the evenings Raj made some delicious curries with fresh local ingredients. Wadduwa is not a touristy place, which we liked. It is located on the train line between Colombo and Galle, with both easily reachable.

Lovely secluded villa style hotel right on the lake we stayed to visit the new pearl bay water park near by so that kept us busy. Has a boat ride on bolgoda and used their swimming pool but a bit off the beaten track for things to do but if you want rest and relaxation it’s a lovely serene place. We spend a night in this hidden paradise with old-fashioned vibes. The territory of the hotel well maintained, surrounded by different trees which shades the entire area. There is cozy cafe with fresh sea food and extremely friendly staff. The room was big enough and had all basic needs such as AC, fridge, hot water, mosquito net and terrace with chairs ( ground floor). The room was cleaned, however with a bit old fashioned furniture. The villa has direct access to the ocean. The beach line looks endlessly with palm trees along it. The villa has its own surfing instructor with proper equipment. The waves were good enough to learn surfing. We really enjoyed surfing experience with Dinusha there. Strongly recommend the hotel with its relax atmosphere!

A rare find in Colombo suburbs located in the beachfront with good facilities along with rooms having a great sea view. I enjoyed the dinner, sandwiches and other short eats particularly. Very clean and spacious rooms. Overall, there is nothing bad to state about the experience. I would visit there again.
