Our stay at Waves Unawatuna was nothing short of extraordinary! The Deluxe Double Room with Balcony and Sea View provided not only a breathtaking panorama but also a cozy and well-appointed space. The owner's hospitality was exceptional; they arranged a free late checkout, and a comfy baby crib for our little one, and shared invaluable local tips through WhatsApp. We were pleasantly surprised by the attention to detail, from the room's elegant decor to the thoughtful amenities. The sumptuous breakfast served against the backdrop of the mesmerizing sea view added a delightful touch. Throughout our stay, the owner's genuine interest in ensuring our comfort and enjoyment stood out, making our experience truly unforgettable. Nice and cozy place. Hidden in the garden not far from central street. Railway station, frut spot ant tuk-tuk parking are close. The owner and his wife are kind, generous and honest people. And what wonderful breakfasts they serve!!!!! With fruits and local dishes. The owner built this cabins by himself during the coronavirus period, so everything is new and clean. We spent their 3 nights, and can recommend it for longer staying.

Villa 73 Unawatuna was our best hotel in Sri Lanka. It was a spacious and clean and equipped room. We received a delicious and plentiful breakfast. They taught me how to make roti and coconut sambol. The host and staff were extremely polite. They helped us with everything. They are lovely team! I recommend to everyone.

Per accident we stayed in Unawatuna for a night and found this hidden gem online. The only thing we didn’t like was, that we couldn’t stay another night. All of the staff were so so nice, especially the owner. The rooms were amazing, the breakfast was one of the best we had and the place was very clean and beautifully decorated with flowers. We are seriously considering coming back. 100% recommend

This place is just perfect for everything you need for a comfortable and affordable stay. The value for money is incredible, with a fully equipped kitchen, washing machine, fridge and wifi all available. Sometimes I worry about staying in ‘non-AC/fan’ rooms but the fan was super strong and I actually felt abit cold which is great for me in this heat! Additionally, the location is less than a 10minute walk to the main road will all shops and restaurants. Definitely recommend and will be back if I need somewhere to stay in Unawatuna!

Great location! Very near to the beach and had many restaurants nearby. Big rooms equipped with wifi and water heater. Great view from the balcony. The hosts were very kind and helpful. Very fast responses over text and calls. Would definitely recommend it for people with budget trips.

The apartment was very clean and comfortable. A/C was working perfectly. The bathroom was clean as well and the hot water was working very well. It was nice to have a fridge and little kitchen area. Both, the owner and house keeper were very friendly and helpful. They made sure if everything‘s fine on a regular basis. The owner also arranged a scooter rental for us. The location was very quiet and at night there weren’t any noises so that we could sleep very well. Thanks for a great stay! We would definitely come back :)
