This place is amazing! It’s definitely the best stay for our three-week round trip . I can only recommend it. We booked a Standard double room , Which was their basic category. But it was fantastic! The room was super clean , which is not always in Sri Lanka. They had everything more than we expected like air conditioning, hot water , mosquito nets , a fan , tea coffee, and even pool towels were provided in the room. Also best value for the money. Unbeatable! The Wi-Fi was great in the room and restaurant. Pool area also had a another Wi-Fi which was good. The pool was our favorite super Large,clean like the rest of the property surrounded with nature great to relax and in the pool even have kind of jacuzzi that you can get a massage in the water :) We also booked a Half day 7 Hour safari tour through them and it was fantastic . Price was also very good compared to other offers we had . We saw many elephants, birds and many other animals . Had a great time with the breakfast inside the park .The driver explained everything to us and was very experienced. He didn’t bother animals or go with too many jeeps . If you’re going on a safari definitely go with the hotel. The owner was very friendly, professional and had lots of experience in the industry. The rest of the staff also very helpful and available always with a smile . Thanks a lot for the wonderful stay ! We‘ll definitely come back . Highly recommend this place!

It’s the wonderful staff who made our stay here so great. We had wonderful home made meals and went on amazing full day safari. The accomodation is rustic but totally functional and is within the casa resort. Thanks for a great stay.

Leel's place is the best place we have being in entire Sri Lanka. The place is well cleaned, beautiful, calm and romantic. Leel is a wonderful host, honest and decent, taking care of everything, making sure you will have the best stay. Leel's mother cook delicious food, served so well. The breakfast was made by Leel's wife and it was so good and tasty. Leel is the best Safari guide you will ever find in Udawalawe. He knows all the best spots in the park and provided us the best Safari experience we could ever ask for. I wish Leel all the best and I definitely recommend you to visit.

The place is very cool and clean! At first the jungle around seems a bit scary, but you r absolutely safe there! The family that has the place is very kind, they show us their beautiful garden. Honestly, the stay at Amba Kola was one highlight of our Sri Lanka vacation. The host is very nice, supportive and welcoming. We very enjoyed the safari trip and a boat trip he organised for us. We participated at the cooking class which was very fun. The food on general was great. The place is beautiful and has great rooms. We would definitely come again and can warmly recommend to stay at Amba Kola

Location is lovely with a range of birds, monkeys and even fish in the little river. Rooms are huge and the biggest we have stayed in in Sri Lanka despite being he cheaper price of the rooms. Food was really good and overall the best value for money that you will find in Sri Lanka. It was a lovely extra touch for the manager to give us the leaving gift and extend our check out time to later in the day so we can do the safari and have time to freshen up.

A peaceful location, ideally placed for visiting the Natural Park. The team who work there are incredibly helpful - special mention to Chanaka and chef Shamika, but they were all good. Rooms were spotlessly clean, food was good and the pool was very welcome.

We loved everything about Nature House. The staff were incredibly friendly and service-oriented. The rooms and general facilities were spotless. The location was ideal and the food delicious. It was quiet and we enjoyed seeing sunbirds, leafbirds, koels, tailorbirds, and many more bird species while eating meals. And with all this the price was very reasonable. Their safari service to Udawaldawe was excellent with a driver who had a great eye for birds and natural history and good knowledge.

The room was lovely with a small balcony overlooking a field. It was very clean & the bed was comfortable. It was ideal location for visiting Udawalawe safari park. We saw several elephants opposite the hotel entrance behind the security fence.
