The place is new, big and very clean. The hot water in the shower is installed and working well. The host that works there is super kind and helpful. He gave us best breakfast possible. Best place so far.

This place is run by a very friendly kind couple where nothing was too much trouble, it had a delicious breakfast for only 800 rupees, Very clean rooms with good towels in a great location near beach and a strip of restaurants, it has a great garden for chilling. Book now you won’t regret it!!!

Everything was just perfect! Quiet place close to a nice beach with a very shallow water. One can walk at low tide to Nilaveli beach (15 min walk). Brenda was a perfect, talkative and helpful host as well as an excellent cook. One can refill bottles with a drinking water at the property. Nice well equipped huts with comfortable bed. 10 and 15 min by tuk tuk to Upuveli and Trinco, respectively. Surprisingly no mosquitoes (the first place without them during our 3 weeks travels in Sri Lanka). If you look for peaceful quite oasis this place is for you. Highly recommended!

Pleasant Park Holiday Inn was exactly that - pleasant! The room was even better than in the pictures and I was surprised with the cleanliness of it. The staff was very approachable and not obtrusive. The location next to the beach was ideal plus we enjoyed using their beachside restaurant and bar. The staff couldn’t have been more helpful and even arranged a birthday cake for my daughter’s birthday. Would highly recommend staying here if you can get a room (as I think they book up quickly).

Highlight of the hotel for me was the pool. It was a great size and very clean and well maintained. The hotel overall was spotless and the staff did everything to make our stay comfortable and memorable. The location was great for access to the beach and the best of the beachfront restaurants. Well worth a visit

Location to the beach was brilliant, about a 30 minute stroll to uppuveli beach, where nice cheap restaurants can be found for both lunch and dinner. The view from the balcony over the sea is wonderful. The rooms were very clean and the bed was very comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful when planning excursions such as whale watching and Pigeon Island. They also organise tuk tuks where you get the most fantastic driver in Kumar, who will chat to you and offer to take you whenever you want to go (even at 5am).
