Everything about this stay was exeptional from the comfort of the room to the quality of the breakfast and the cleanliness was brilliant. This was topped off by having the perfect host/owner. The communication before my arrival was already very friendly. I had made a mistake with the booking date, but changing it was no problem at all. When I arrived, I was warmly welcomed – even with a fresh coconut. The room was clean, had a private bathroom, hot shower, a good mosquito net and the air conditioning worked perfectly. The local breakfast was very delicious and plentiful. The location is great: only a 5-minute walk from the bus station, close to the beach and right next to a really good restaurant. The outdoor area is especially lovely – almost like a small beer garden – perfect for relaxing. The common area is cozy, there are a few games and the WiFi was the best I’ve had so far in Sri Lanka. I would have loved to stay one more night, but unfortunately I had to change my plans.

The location being right on the beach was the highlight of this spot for us, being able to walk along the beach first thing in the morning and watch sunrise and sunset each day. Food was incredible too. And the staff were incredibely friendly and warm.

Everything. Super clean, comfy and spacious room! Owner is friendly and helps out in everything. He's the best! He took us to a closeby place where turtles hatch. Had no luck with baby turtles due to the bad weather...but guess what?? We saw a big turtle laying its eggs. Beautiful nature♥️ breakfast was superb too! Owner varied it and gave us a taste of great SriLankan food. Ended up spending an extra night there, even though it's during the rainy season!
