Everything was so clean and the food at the hotel restaurant was really good.(We had fried rice and koththu.) When we go to the next place , the staff took us there. Thank you so much for good services. And the view is very beautiful. staff is very good and helpful. Food is very delicious.

Situated in a quiet location with an excellent view of Sigiriya Rock, while still being a short walk to restaurants. The pool area was well maintained, and it was great to have a swim after a long hot day exploring the area. The staff and breakfast was great. The room was clean, comfortable and as advertised. Location is close to lions rock. Really got the jungle experience also. The nice homestay is surrounded by thick bush and trees. Easy access. Good roads. Was greeted immediately with cold juice. Room was better than expected. Large comfy bed with clean sheets and clean bathroom. AC and fan was great. Nice mosquito net above bed but no mosquitos. Break fast was large delicious simply amazing. Host was helpful and clearly takes good pride in his homestay. Host also offers taxi and tour services, I wish i had known prior hand as his prices for taxi from negembo and than to Kandy were so much more cheaper. Well Worth the money.

Great brand new hotel with spacious rooms and a nice pool to cool down after climbing up the rocks. The staff is incredibly nice and helpful, they gave us advice on where to eat/drink and arranged transportation at a very reasonable price. The breakfast is excellent, you cannot eat it all. We were served fruits and freshly squeezed fruit juice, then omelette and next pancakes/local specialty halaba. Also, if you go up the road leading to the hotel you’ll see the fields and a nice lake, perfect location when you’d like to get a break from the tourist crowds

Very friendly host, felt more than welcome! Great with kids. Own fruit garden and open for visitors. Ideal location between the two rocks. Great food - Sri Lankan but fitted to the children, every day other great dishes. Opens her kitchen for guests as well. Place to stay! We definitely go back!

We had a wonderful time at this property, which was very warm and hospitable. Its location is perfect, within walking distance to Sigiriya Rock and the other rock. This property is ideal for families. Additionally, Mr. Sanjeeva (+94 77 919 7974), who managed all our transportation needs at very affordable rates, was a fantastic part of our overall trip.

Dinesh and his family were wonderful hosts. The accommodation was spotlessly clean and the room and bathroom were finished to really high standard. The location is ideal with some really good restaurants nearby. Dinesh encourages birds and wildlife to the beautiful garden. The food was great and Dinesh was able to help us with our ongoing travel plans. This was our favourite place that we stayed on our three week trip and we couldn't recommend Otunna enough.

The location is ideal. Very clean and the cabana dormitory accommodation is really special. Really nice lighting in the evening and plenty of places to sit and chill (lots of comfy hammocks). Note that there are two different standards of dorm rooms - make sure you check which one you booked and specify as I was accidentally shown to the wrong dorm. Not a problem and all sorted in the end.

1.the host is very kind and honest. The transportation he offered is with good price and good service. Recommend that you book the car and tuktuk with him and it is cheaper than the transport on the street. 2.the location is good for everywhere. 3.the breakfast is so generous and delicious that it can keep you full all day. 4.the room rate is affordable to solo traveller and the room has everything you need.(tea, hotpot, fridge,AC ...)

Our stay at Rockside was perfect. Pasindu and Priyantha both made our stay memorable. Everything was spotlessly clean and our room had everything we may need. Breakfast was delicious and so big we couldn't finish it. The location was ideal as we could walk to town and also Pindurangala and Sigiriya rocks. A local elephant could be spotted in the river too. They tell us they are soon starting to offer cooking classes. We wish them well with this. Priyantha cooks well and has a great sense of humour to go with it.
