The people running this retreat were so lovely and so helpful. The pool is exceptional. The pools in many, places we stayed we diisappointing as they were smaller than they liked in the photo. This pool was the reverse, it's large and gorgeous, you can actually swim lengths

I had a wonderful experience at Grand Silverray. The property is beautifully maintained, clean, and very comfortable. The rooms are spacious and well-designed, offering everything needed for a relaxing stay. The most delicious coconut pancakes I've had! The roti, dhal, sambal, chutney also were exceptionally tasty and beautifully prepared and presented. Also a very peaceful, open sided restaurant with mountain views to eat in.

If you are looking for secluded and peaceful location - that’s your destination. Really beautiful place with tremendous view and sound of mountain river. With touch of style in the yard and attractive interior, lots of design details pleasant to an eye. Clean and comfortable. The hostess treated to tasty Sri-Lanka dinner and tea. At the same time allowed us to use kitchen to cook for our children. Also helped us getting to the tyre service when we found out that one of tyres had a puncture.

Nice quiet location. Backed onto rainforest. Nice balcony to watch the thunderstorm from. Big rooms, A/C available. The local guide, Sampa, was an absolute legend and offered to show me around Ratnapura even though I hadn’t previously enquired. He is somewhat affiliated with the accommodation, so he just turned up. Helped me navigate the hospital, and fast. (Needed a vaccination). Spending time with him ended up being a highlight of the trip.
