Cheap hotels in Pasikuda

I arrived during a hot afternoon and as soon as I sat at the reception area, I received a welcome drink, my bags were taken to the room and the AC turned on so the room would be nice and cool by the time I walk in. Inside the room it had everything you would expect from a pricey hotel. It is only a few steps walk to the Kalkuda beach. (I found Kalkuda beach to be less crowded and cleaner than the Pasikuda beach). I enjoyed a really nice Sri Lankan breakfast during my stay.

It was the best homestay in Sri Lanka. The house is situated in a calm place, outside of city. It’s possible to rent a bicycle to explore the area and beaches. The owners are very hospitable and kind. The room was clean, comfortable and with good AC. For a request, it’s possible to order home cooked food.

Peaceful, quiet and wonderful stay surrounded by nature. Excellent location, very near to the beaches and all local amenities. Tasty and rich breakfast, decent room - great value for money. Last but not the least, the host Arul is quite kind and helpful - he even drove me to the hospital for my rabies shots (don't play with beach dogs :) At any rate, this place comes highly recommended!

The best accomodation we had at this price. An impressive yard, pleasant to spend time in nature, very nice bungalows, clean, nice personal, near to the beach, next to a local shop, near to restorants.

Our time in this hotel was awesome. The hotel staff is very kind and is always smiling when you see them. The food and breakfast was very good. You could always order fresh fruit juices. We were in the End of June and there were not a lot of people staying. So it was really calm and the service was perfect, as well as our room (suite). The beach in front of the hotel was one of the best and cleanest i have ever seen. We went for a walk on the beach to see the beaches of the other hotels there and i just can say in front of the Calm Resort was the best and cleanest beach. Also almost no shells have been there. The water of the sea was warm. I couldn't have imagined it better.

Excellent hospitalaty, good breakfast and wonderful location we ever had

It is with great pleasure that I leave a review about the Sunrise Pasikuda Hotel! My family and I spent a wonderful 11 days-I didn't want to leave! The two-room family room turned out to be very large and comfortable: 2 bathrooms, a bathroom, comfortable ergonomic mattresses, clean linen, all(!) possible accessories for personal care and hygiene, coffee and tea in the mini-bar, which was replenished in the morning and evening, room cleaning 2 times a day, a spacious terrace with comfortable outdoor furniture, views of the beach and tropical park. Two small two-storey buildings of the hotel are located on the huge green territory of Sunrise Pasikuda Park, with giant palm trees and many other trees and plants, which adjoins a wide beach with snow-white sand. One of the best beaches we've ever seen. The beach is snow-white, spacious with a very hospitable ocean! The entrance to the ocean is on fine sand and a shallow bottom, without waves, which allows you to swim all day in peace. The part of the beach belonging to Sunrise Pasikuda has comfortable sun beds with soft mattresses and towels, which are kindly provided by the hotel. Sprawling trees with a vast and dense crown serve as a real salvation from the midday sun – thanks to the hotel staff for taking care of these beautiful trees. There is also a huge swimming pool on the territory of the hotel, which extends throughout the park: from the hotel buildings to the coastline. Fresh shower. Delicious breakfasts in the lobby restaurant. From the usual omelets to Ceylon exotics; an abundance of pastries, tropical fruits and freshly squeezed juices. We really want to thank all the staff of the hotel! The management of the hotel, the staff of the restaurant, the beach, the rooms, the gardeners, the reception. You have given us an unforgettable, wonderful experience! We did everything possible to solve our everyday problems and at the same time left the opportunity to be alone with our family and our journey.
