The view from the room is the best, the room itself is spacious and very clean and well maintained. Comfortable bed and pillows, combined with a sound of the waves good sleep is guaranteed. :) There is also good and comfortable bathroom. Breakfast is plenty and different every day. Fast Wi-Fi and a lovely working area on the last floor overlooking the seaside. In the hotel there is their own beach part and for those who surf a nice spot right there. The board rental is also next door. In the evening you can see sea creatures like big crabs and sometimes turtles coming to the beach! The family who runs this place is extremely nice and made our stay there amazing.

We had a truly lovely stay at Nomads Hideaway. The villa is peaceful, beautifully designed, and surrounded by greenery, giving it a calm, tucked-away feeling. It’s clear that a lot of thought and care went into creating this space—from the natural materials to the cozy layout and relaxing garden nook. The hosts were kind, welcoming, and available when needed, which made everything feel easy and relaxed. Although it’s just a short distance from Matara and the beach, the villa feels like a quiet sanctuary—ideal for resting, reading, or simply being present. We only stayed for two nights but felt deeply nourished by the experience. We’d happily return for a longer stay next time. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful and soulful place to recharge.
