We stayed at this house for 2 days while on holiday. It is conveniently located closer to Kottawa Town. The property is next to a paddy field in a peaceful relaxing environment. It also has air conditioned clean rooms, full kitchen, bathrooms, etc. There is lot of space for kids to play and and strolling on the paddy fields was an extra. Host communicated proactively via the web site and gave us a number to contact for getting the key. He met us at the arrival and gave us a tour of the house. Overall extremely satisfied and great place.

We arrived late in the evening and had to catch an early bus the following morning. They were up to greet us in the evening and provided an amazing Sri Lankan breakfast at 6am before our bus. The place itself was very clean and tidy, would highly recommend. Thank you.

Such a great place! Madu, the host, is an extremely friendly lady who made me feel like home. Her care and service is beyond amazing. Make sure to try her Dahl as this was one of the best I had in 2 months traveling through SL. The room was clean and comfortable. If I come back to Colombo one day I would stay here again

This was the first stop in our Sri Lankan trip and We weren’t quite ready to brave the hustle bustle of Colombo, Athma house was perfect for that. A small escape where you could admire the city lights over the lake while nestled behind a jungle shield. However central enough for you get out there if you want to. The owner of the property was our highlight. A fabulous well traveled woman with a warm welcoming energy. Her mission to make us feel at home. The interior was a feast for the eyes. Authentic and eccentric. The property was originally built as her home and it still feels that way, lived in and full of soul. Our only regret is we didn’t stay longer. We stayed for one night and would recommend a minimum of two nights.

Raja, the owner and care taker Kumara were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good too. Specially we liked the way they presentd it in a nice basket. Apartment had all the amenities including a gas cooker, hob, kettle and fully functioning microwave with all the utensils in the kitchen and the room had a large mirror and a full size wardrobe. Bathroom was new and clean with hot water. There were two ACs to cool both the room and the living area which was awesome. The refrigerator was very clean and lage. Location was easy to find in Google maps. Parking was inside the house with a roller door hence its very safe. Also the environment was very nice and silent with a beautiful garden. We stayed three nights and it felt like home.

Well located, lovely place, spotless clean and very calm, 100% can keep a privacy, such a grate place to stay friends and family, and it gives much privacy for the couples. And the bachyard is wonderfull with the paddy. Worth for money. And the caretaker was very friendly. We are hope to come again.

This was a fantastic accommodation with an amazing view. The location was really good as it was close to many restaurants and high way entrance. There was a supermarket in the building and it was a very secure apartment. The pool was very useful and roof top was an added bonus. Bedroom were comfortable, all needed items for a comfortable stay was provided. The owners were very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again when I'm back in sri lanka.
