Nice light new clean accommodation with spacious terrace and private entrance situated in a tranquil neighborhood off the main road. Good bathroom with hot shower. Large bed with an excellent mosquito net. Run by a friendly family doing their absolute best to make you having a great time. The hostess prepares excellent meals on request. If we have had time we surely would have stayed longer.

Magic! Owners the kindest people. Excellent Sri Lankan home cooking whenever we needed it- breakfast and dinner. Lovely location near good swimming beach. Hosts' local knowledge very successful for turtles on beach. Hostess proud to show us all the food and spice plants in their garden, used for our meals. Nothing too much trouble. Really pleasant and relaxing private sitting areas to enjoy birds and trees. A big favourite for us.

Had a lovely stay at Terance Bungalow, Just a quick tuk tuk ride to the beach and the Sea Turtle Conservation Center, plus the Madu Ganga boat safari is a must. The staff were super friendly and always attentive, making us feel right at home. Highly recommend!

This is a brand new hotel - we were the first guests in one of the rooms. Our experience was really great: The room was clean and the bathroom with the outdoor shower is a highlight. It is only a 3 min walk from the hotel to the beautiful beach and a turtle hatchery. The pool of the hotel is really big and the body treatments which we received were excellent. We also enjoyed the food, both breakfast and dinner. We highly recommend this hotel also because of the hosts who have shown great hospitality and flexibility to adapt to the needs of our family. Thank you!

How can I even start… all the members of this family are literal angels. They’ll take care of you, show you around, make sure you’re never hungry, and give you the best possible experience. I was so lucky to meet them at the beginning of my trip; I ended up staying way longer than planned and even spent my birthday with them and we organised a trip together some time later. At this point, they’ve become family to me. Their property is located in a beautiful and tranquil area; if you like being close to nature and want an authentic Sri Lankan experience, this is the place. The rooms are well-kept and tidy, spacious, and cosy. There’s an adorable dog and lots of visiting animals, even parrots, who feed near the property’s gate every morning. Shamaylie, with the help of her daughters, cooks home made, healthy and very tasty meals, made from the local ingredients. The family will make sure that they offer you the food you like. I recommend to visit the Guesthouse regardless if you’re travelling solo or in a couple. You will always be treated with love, warmth, and generosity. Wik xx
