However there is a minor drawback. Finding the villa can be challenging as there is no board displaying its name. Adding clear directions or a visible sign board would greatly enhance the overall experience. Overall , Tamarind villa is an excellent retreat for anyone seeking a luxurious and peaceful getaway with a touch of history.

The variety of places to dine or go for a drink within the hotel met all our needs. The complimentary city tour gave us a great background to Colombo's history and was very interesting.
