The breakfast we ordered was a delight—fresh, flavorful, and satisfying. The staff stood out for their friendliness and attentiveness, ensuring our stay was comfortable. However there is a minor drawback. Finding the villa can be challenging as there is no board displaying its name. Adding clear directions or a visible sign board would greatly enhance the overall experience. Overall , Tamarind villa is an excellent retreat for anyone seeking a luxurious and peaceful getaway with a touch of history.

It there were 6 stars, they’d get every one and have earned it. Beautiful place. Amazing staff. Buffets are delicious and plentiful. Rooftop (pool, spas, park, bar…) are incredible. Bridge to mall with restaurants, spa, movie theater, shops… Hotel offers free City Tours daily. 10 minutes south with hotel shuttle and you are at the Marino Beach Lounge (right on the beach)…perfect spot. Staff are some of the nicest people I’ve met One of my favorite places in my travels. 🙏

The hotel has a really great environment and an excellent sense of design. When I checked in, the owner wasn't around, but someone else was arranged to help me with the check-in process, which was quite an interesting experience. The next day, when I left, the owner was very kind. All in all, it was a wonderful stay. However, I only stayed in Colombo for one day. The room gave me a really nice feeling that day.

The owner is extremely nice! It is like being back at home when mom takes care of you. The room was really nice, air condition as long as I wanted, own bathroom, also very quiet place in Colombo.
