This hotel is, with no doubt, the best hotel in Hikkaduwa (and probably in Sri Lanka) The location is perfect, the rooms are amazing (well organised, incredible views, all the amenities you can need, soft towels, good coffee and tea…), the breakfast is the best one we have had in Sri Lanka (awesome!!!), the pool is fantastic and the staff is the best that the hotel keeps…thanks to Franzi for all the recommendations, attentions and care ❤️). We really didn’t want to come back home 🥹. The relation quality-price can’t be better and I do not understand yet why the hotel just keeps 5 stars! Should be at least 6! Really, the best place in Sri Lanka for relaxing, surfing or enjoying the sun. We will be back as soon as we can Thanks!!!

A most beautiful property on the Lake. As of late 2023 only two units on many acres of forest (palms, cinnamon, mango etc). The views from the room, the pool and throughout the property were pristine. Birds and animals including chipmunks, mongoose, swimming lizards, kingfishers, herons, eagles etc. The quiet and privacy. The attention to detail and maximizing both the views and privacy in the architecture was evident. With highly personalised and professional service, Chaturang greeted us and took care of our every request. The Sri Lankan breakfast was excellent. Very clean and diligently maintained. Stayed only two nights. Highly recommended.

The owner and his family were very kind and generous. Owner's wife welcomed us with a cup of hot soup. That was very delicious. Room was clean and calm. They also arranged a private car for us to go to the airport at a very reasonable price. We were fortunate to spend our last days in Sri Lanka at this hotel.

Our stay at this hotel was simply magical! The hotel is nestled right next to a breathtakingly beautiful and serene lake, offering peaceful views and a truly relaxing atmosphere. Waking up to the gentle sound of nature and the shimmering water was an unforgettable experience. The breakfast was absolutely outstanding—freshly baked pastries, a variety of tropical fruits, rich and aromatic coffee, and a selection of delicious local specialties. Every morning felt like a luxurious feast, setting the perfect tone for the day. One of the best parts of this hotel was its location. A short, pleasant walk led us straight to the ocean’s pristine beach. The golden sand was incredibly soft and clean, and the crystal-clear water made it an ideal spot for relaxation and swimming. The combination of the peaceful lake and the stunning ocean beach made this a dream destination.
