From the moment we arrived, we were greeted not just as guests, but truly as friends. The warmth and hospitality of Sudesh’s family made this one of the most memorable stays of our trip. The food was absolutely delicious – all home-cooked meals prepared with love by the owner’s family, and every bite felt like a taste of authentic Sri Lankan home life. The guesthouse is located a little outside the busy town of Kandy, which turned out to be a big plus – peaceful, quiet, and surrounded by nature, making it a perfect retreat after a day of sightseeing. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the entire atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming. We left with full hearts (and stomachs!), and we would return in a heartbeat. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a genuine and heartwarming stay in Kandy!

Beautiful property that felt like our own little oasis. The room was very comfortable, spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated. The shower was excellent too. Breakfast was served at your requested time and the owner offered to cook us a Sri Lankan breakfast that was really good. The location does require a tuk tuk in and out of Kandy central but you can down load the pick me app to get local rates to keep costs down. Excellent stay and highly recommended.

What an incredible stay! One of our favourites in a 6 month trip and incredible value for money. The hosts are super friendly and welcoming and the home cooked meals by a lady from the village were delicious. The room was comfortable and beautifully decorated, with an incredible view. The location is outside Kandy but we found the city to be hectic so it was nice to be a bit removed and nearer to nature, and was cheap & easy by bus or tuk tuk into town. As a cherry on top they have the sweetest friendly dog. Can't recommend enough!

The kingsman House is a wonderful place to stay while exploring Kendy bothe for families and travelers. We were a family of 6. It's a BEAUTIFUL place, very comfortable beds, and the best welcoming staff. Additionally, the served breakfast is delicious and fresh 😋 We highly recommend this place!

Everything was wonderful, the location is breathtaking, staff are incredibly warm and helpful, food was great, the pool is stunning and did some yoga watching the sunrise just next to it. Only time I’ve ever had a room with two panoramic views, one of the sunrise and one of the sunset!
