It's a wonderful place with a warmly welcome; you feel very welcome but still you can keep your privacy as they know how to handle tourists. The owner is a very intelligent man with a lot of knowledge, and he speaks english very wwll so you can have very good conversations. We totally liked our stay.

It was a pleasure to stay at Leel's Safari Cottage! Leel, Nameli and Leel's Mother are such heartful persons, we had a lot of fun together! The rooms are very new and have a nice view to the garden which is wunderful! Make the Safari Tour with Lee, he has very good knowledge, and gives his best to give you the most special experience. He showed us so many animals! Also the food his mother and wife are cooking is very delicious! His taxi driver sameera is also great.We highly recommend this place, and hope we come back soon! This place is a real gem. The accommodation was amazing. It was very clean and comfortable. The host was very welcoming and extremely helpful. The safari tour exceeded all expectations and I highly recommend as a safari guide.... very experienced and knowledgeable. I also enjoyed my meals during my stay here. Breakfast is delicious! Overall, I definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting udawalawa.

The stay was absolutely perfect! I wouldn’t change one thing about this place. We stayed for one night and from start to finish, the service and hospitality was exceptional, we were truly treated like family. The food was cooked fresh to order and absolutely divine, and we were fed until we couldn’t eat any more! The bed was super comfy and all the bathroom facilities were really good. The safari was great too. I don’t often write reviews but this place deserves one! The owner even called to speak to us just before we left to make sure we had a good stay!

Amazing accomodation, perfect to visit the Udawalawe national park. The small houses are beautiful with a balcony on yhe small river. The staff is extremely friendly and welcoming, and the food they prepare is really good. They organized the safari for us and it was great. Highly recommended.

My family had an amazing time at this beautiful hidden gem! The location was just gorgeous with a beautiful lake surrounded by trees. The room and bathroom were very clean and the staff were extremely friendly and helped us with anything we needed. We got the chance to go on a safari in the morning and relax in the pool by the lake towards the evening. Definitely coming back!!

Stunning location! Properly isolated and very peaceful. The room is big and spacious with a superb view of the lake and mountains. We had an amazing time here and got to relax and unwind with the family. The caretaker also really went out of his way to look after us. We also got the chance to go to Udawalawe national park and see elephants. Overall the trip was perfect especially at that price! I wish we could have stayed for more days but we have made plans to come again for a longer stay. A hidden Jewel!
