So far it was the best place we stayed in Sri Lanka. We were lucky to be the first guests of this wonderful place. Room is clean, everything is new and it feels very cozy. Our stay at Fern Hill Cabins was absolutely unforgettable! The place itself is cozy, peaceful, and surrounded by incredible nature — perfect for couples looking to relax and enjoy the beauty of Ella. But what made our experience truly special was the owner, Chathura. He is one of the kindest and most caring hosts we’ve ever met. He spent the whole day with us — took us to the zipline, to the waterfalls, and even helped us organize taxis and trips around the area. We felt like we were visiting a good friend, not just staying at a hotel. Thank you, Chathura, for your kindness and hospitality. You made our honeymoon truly memorable. ❤️

Our favourite accommodation so far after 5 months in Asia! Beautiful location with stunning views from the balcony and not too far from town. Amazing hosts who went above and beyond to make sure we had a good stay, they helped us with rides into town, cooked delicious food, and even made us a packed lunch for our onward travels. Super comfortable beds and pillows. We stayed an extra night because we loved it so much. A great experience overall, definitely recommend.

Naadhika and her family were the perfect hosts. Absolutely polite, accommodative and helpful. Naadhika's mother made us delicious home cooked breakfasts and dinners. We were tired of eating outside food during our trip, so their food was a good healthy break for us. Naadhika's mom is an awesome cook. Their homestay was probably the best experience we had amongst the six other homestays we stayed during our two week trip. We rented their scooter for two days which they offered at a lower price than other commercial places. They even accommodated our request to extend our stay by one day at the last minute and modified their other bookings. Naadhika has a very pleasant personality and is always smiling and her mother is a lovely and sweet lady. If you're looking for a quiet, comfortable stay, and if this place is available, please book it right away. I highly recommend this place and would definitely stay here if I ever visit Ella.

We just loved it, the owner was very caring and went above and beyond to make sure we had a great stay. The vue was breath-taking, with the waterfall and the night we could admire a sky full of stars. She changed breakfasts for more variety, which was nice. Free shuttle to the city center was very helpful :-) I would definitely recommend this room to couples who wish to have a mesmerising stay!

Cheap and affordable. The host is so friendly and shall attend your request immediately. Food is delicious. In one of the best locations. Very near to the railway station. Also provided free drop to railway station.

For what you pay, it’s a brilliant deal. Good location - few mins walk from Ella town, laundry for cheap on site, very helpful staff and clean sheets and fairly comfy beds.

Very friendly service, clean rooms, and very clean bathrooms. Highly Recommended. Even though we arrived late at night, they were up and waiting for us. Provided us with dinnerware on request. Gave us advice and directions to the best location to visit at ella and directed us towards the best deals at restaurants at ella Town.

Sri Lankan Breakfast. Brilliant location. 5 minute walk into main town and train station along the train tracks. Very clean, spacious room. Beautiful view of Ella rock and the valley below. Friendly owners, one is a guide for Ella rock and considerably cheaper than online prices.
