The family who runs the hotel is incredibly warm and caring – we felt at home from the very first moment. Their hospitality made our stay truly special. It's a traditional Sri Lankan house converted to a hotel and it's located right in the center of the Bibila city. The hotel staff is very polite and friendly to us. The food was also really delicious and we enjoyed it. The garden is also full of the plans and greens. 💯 recommended.

This was honestly one of the most welcoming and thoughtful places we’ve ever stayed. From the moment we arrived, Sydney and his team looked after us so well. The chef asked what we fancied and was very accommodating. He cooked the most amazing curry, lunch and honey hoppers for breakfast (which we were introduced to and absolutely loved). They even gave us a packed lunch for our elephant boat safari, which they organised, along with a great driver. There were little extra touches that made such a different, like beers in the fridge when we arrived (and they went to get more when we ran out), a cooking class with a local family, a really interesting forest walk with an indigenous guide and when we asked if we could do some laundry they sorted it for us with no trouble at all. The cottage is in a beautiful, quiet spot with amazing Mountain View’s, a perfect place to switch off. Would highly recommend supporting this amazing project. Such a great experience 😊😊

Clean and with great facilities. The staff was friendly and extemely helpful with all our requests. Breakfast is delicious and worth it.
